BIM Farm to Entity Allocation Log

 

The BIM Farm Farm to Entity Allocation log is generated from the BIM Farm to Entity task by right-clicking on the task and selecting Farm to Entity Allocation Log. The purpose of the log is to provide the details of the costs that were coded to the farm and then allocated to the entities in the period. The costs are allocated based on bird days for each stage. The details will be displayed for the current fiscal period. Any of the following fields can be added or removed from the displayed view as required.

 

  1. Begin Date - first date of the fiscal period that the log is generated.
  2. End Date - last date of the fiscal period that the log is generated.
  3. Month - represents fiscal month as defined in the Fiscal Calendar.
  4. Fiscal Year - displays the fiscal year based on the defined Fiscal Calendar.
  5. Company No/ Company Name - displays the company for the farm.
  6. Division No/Division Name - displays the division that the farm is assigned to.
  7. Cost Center No/Cost Center Name - represents the cost center assigned to the farm.
  8. Farm Name - indicates the farm for the overhead allocation.
  9. Complex Entity No - represents the entity that the costs were allocated.
  10. Product No/Product Name - indicates the product for the allocation, if applicable.
  11. Complex Account No - represents the account that received the allocation.
  12. Allocation Type - determines how the costs are allocated to the field product allocations and farm to entity costs at period end. This option is assigned to the account in Admin>Business>General>Chart of Accounts>Chart of Account Master.
  13. Allocation Mode - determines  whether the expense is carried over to the next entity placed or allocated to all entities in the period. This option is assigned to the account in Admin>Business>General>Chart of Accounts>Chart of Account Master.

  14. Date - represents the date that the cost was allocated. This date is the last date of the period as all costs are included.
  15. Hen Days - the number of hen days in the period that were incurred to the entity for the account stage.
  16. Farm Days - the total number of bird days in the period that were incurred to the farm for the stage. Generally this will be the same as the Hen Days unless the farm is sex-separated and records costs separately to males and females.
  17. Allocation Ratio - determines the ration that is allocated to the entity by taking Hen Days/Farm Days. This value will generally be 1.00 unless there are multiple entities with the same stage on the farm in the period.
  18. Amount - represents the amount that has been expensed to the entity. This value is calculated by taking the total amount in BRDR-[STAGE]-[OBJECT]-[ELEMENT] and allocating the amount to the entity based on the Hen Days/Farm Days.
  19. Units - represents the number of units allocated to the stage.
