Business Units

 

Business Units is an optional configuration to define operational units for reporting. Once the Business Units are defined, the business unit can be assigned to Divisions. Business Units can be assigned to Divisions across multiple companies. This option is only available in versions greater than 7.26.

 

Table Name: ProteinBusinessUnits

 

Business Units are used throughout the system for reporting, filtering and intercompany transactions, but only assigned to the following:

Create Business Unit

  1. In Admin>Business>General>Definitions, select Business Units.
  2. Select to create a new business unit.

  3. Enter a Business Unit No to identify the business unit.  This will be used throughout the system to identify the company. Alphanumeric, maximum 40 characters
  4. Enter a Business Unit Name to describe the business unit. Alphanumeric, maximum 100 characters
  5. Save and Close the record.
