Cost Stage represents a step, level or period in a process in the development of the product and identifies the account where the production process belongs. Examples include: Inventory, Broiler, Breeder, Capitalization, Nursery and Operations. All cost stages are system defined. Additional stages cannot be defined.
In Admin>Business>General>Chart of Accounts Definition, select Cost Stages.
Cost Stage No identifies the Cost Stage.
Cost Stage Name describes the Cost Stage.
System Cost Stage No and System Cost Stage Name are system generated, used to create system accounts.
