Entities

The Entities profile selects the existing entities that will be projected. When selecting the entities, the entities can be selected individually or filtered and selected in groups. The Entities must be created and set up in LIM prior to being selected.  Multiple profiles can be created for different scenarios.

 

Create an Entity Profile

  1. In LMTS>LPA>Profiles, select Entities.
  2. In the History Profiles main index, click on thebutton to create a new entity profile.

 

 

  1. In the Profile No field, enter a unique number to identify the profile being created.

  2. Enter a Profile Name to describe the profile.

  3. Select the Standards Profiles Index from the list. The standards are created in Master Data and standard profiles are created and assigned in Profiles.

  4.  Suite ID is derived from the suite that is being utilized and identifies the suite.

  5. Farm Type is derived from the suite being utilized and identifies the farm type.

  6. Set the focus in the Entities section and click thebutton to create a new entity.

 

  1. In the Entities History Entity Selection Prompt, click on the Selected box for all that apply to the profile being created. Click 'OK' and the information will be added to the Entities section. All data fields will be populated based upon the entity selections. The data is derived from Entities in BIM.

 

  1. Complex Entity No identifies the entity.
  2. Farm Name displays the name of the farm for the entity profile.
  3. Farm Stage indicates the stage of the farm for the entity profile.
  4. Entity State indicates the stage of the entity for the profile.
  5. Breed No indicates the breed for the entity profile, and is derived from the Breed Targets set up in Master Data.
  6. Date Placed displays the date the product was placed.
  7. Date Cap displays the date the entity was capitalized.
  8. Date Sold displays the date the product will be sold.

  9. Generation Code indicates the generation of the birds is populated based on the breed selected.

  10. Growout No is populated and derived from the Farm setup in LIM.

  11. Granularity displays the operating level of the system.

  12. Status indicates if the entity is active, inactive or closed.
