BRIM/TIM Accounts

 

The BRIM/TIM accounts must be defined prior to using the Inventory Valuation Wizard. Accounts should be added where there are any existing balances or any that need to have balances entered. The accounts should be added for all required stages in the BRIM or TIM cycle. Depending on the nature of the business, these required stages may include BROOD and/or GROW.

 

  1. In General>Period End>Inventory Valuation>Accounts, select BRIM/TIM.
  2. Click to add an account detail line.
  3. Select the Suite ID. The options for BRIM/TIM will be BMTS or TMTS.
  4. Select the Entity Stage. Available options are Brood or Grow.
  5. Select the Location.
  6. Select the Stage.
  7. Select the Cost Object.
  8. Select the Cost Element.
  9. Repeat the process for all required accounts.
