Declining Egg Age Factors

Declining Egg Age Factors is optional and will be used as a base factor when calculating egg age decline.  This table will be used for all products and does not distinguish between breeds.. To use egg age decline factor by breed, go to Poultry> Definitions > Breed Codes. The system will first look to the breed level for egg age decline then look to the declining egg age factor table if no egg age decline is defined by the breeds.

Create a Declining Egg Age Factor

1. In Admin>Business>Poultry>HIM, select Declining Egg Age Factors.

2. Select to create a new record.

3. Enter the Entity Age to represent the age of the entity for the egg age factor.

4. Enter the Egg Age to indicate the number of days from production that the egg age decline applies to.

5. Enter the Percent Decline for the egg age factor.

6. Continue to add new records until all entity ages, egg ages and percent declines are represented.

7. Save and Close the record.
