FMIM Overhead Mapping

FMIM Overhead Mappings are defined to allocate feed mill overhead expenses to feed deliveries and ending inventory for the period. Any FDM-OPS account that is not mapped in this screen will not be allocated in the period end process. The period end task related to this option is 900 - FMIM OPS Allocation,

Create FMIM Overhead Mapping

1. In Admin>Business>General>Period End, select FMIM Overhead Mapping.
2. Click to add an overhead account.

3. Click on the drop-down to select the required Chart of Account No. Accounts will be filtered for only accounts that begin with FDM-OPS. Accounts with the User Account=OUT should not be selected in this process.
4. Click on the '+' to expose the child grid. Optionally, accounts can be allocated to specific farms, feed types or feed formulas.
1. Farms - select the required farm for the overhead allocation. This will allocate the amount in the selected account to all deliveries for a specified farm. If no farm is selected, overhead will be allocated to all deliveries for all farms.
2. Feed Types - select the required feed type for the overhead allocation. This will allocate the amount in the selected account to all deliveries for a specified feed type. If no feed type is selected, overhead will be allocated to all deliveries for all feed types.
3. Feed Formula - select the required feed formula for the overhead allocation. This will allocate the amount in the selected account to all deliveries for a specified feed formula. If no feed formula is selected, overhead will be allocated to all deliveries for all feed formulas.
5. Save and close the screen.
