Location Group

Location Groups are inventory cost sites that identify the physical location type for the account. Examples: Hatchery, Feed Mill, Warehouse, Breeder, Broiler, Boar, Sow or Admin. Location groups are system-defined and users cannot create user defined locations. The Location Group No and Location Group Name can be modified. If the Location Group No is modified, the change will flow throughout the system.

View the Location Group

1. In Admin>Business>General>Chart of Accounts Definition, select Location Group.

2. Location Group No identifies the location group, and is a user defined account code.
3. Location Group Name displays a description of the location group.
4. System Location Group No identifies the location group in the system.
5. System Location Group Name displays a description of the location group in the system.
