Farm ownership is optional and assigned to farms so that they can report on farms based on the ownership of a group of farms.

Create a Farm Ownership

There are several fields to enter the farm ownership details.

 

  1. In General>Master Data, select Farm Ownership.
  2. In the Farm Ownership index, click to create a new farmer ownership record.

 

  1. In the Owner Name field, enter the name to identify the farm owner (alphanumeric, max 50 characters).
  2. Select the farm's Ownership Type from the drop-down menu. Available options are: Corporations, Limited Liability Company, Proprietorships, Sole Corporations, or Sole Proprietorships.
  3. In the Address 1-2 fields, enter the address details for the farm.
  4. From City, select the city where the selected farm is located. Cities must be predefined in Admin>Business>General>Definitions>Cities.
  5. From State, select the state where the selected farm is located. States must be predefined in Admin>Business>General>Definitions>States.
  6. In the Zip field, enter the zip code or postal code for the farm.
  7. From County, select the county code for where the selected farm is located, if applicable. Counties must be predefined in Admin>Business>General>Definitions>Counties.
  8. In the Email field, enter the main e-mail address for the farm contact (if applicable).
  9. In the Telephone No field, enter the main telephone number for the farm.
  10. In the Telephone No Fax field, enter the main fax number for the customer.
  11. In the Telephone No Mobile field, enter the mobile telephone number for the farm.
  12. The Hold Payment flag is used to hold grower settlement payments for all farms included in the ownership group. Select the flag if required.
