Verify that the company that owns/operates the feed mill is set up in the definition. If the company is not created, set up the company as outlined in the Companies document.

Verify that the division that owns/operates the feed mill is set up in the definition. If the division is not created, set up the division as outlined in the Division document.

Add the cost centers for the internal feed mills. If external mills are required, cost centers must be created for each mill.

Add the facility for each of the required feed mills.

Create a feed formula version for every formula that is required for each mill.

Feed formula prices are optionally set to calculate feed delivery prices. Feed formula prices must be set for any formula that is going to be used in a rework transaction. Prices are set at $/100 lb or $/1000 kg.

If there is a standard manufacturing cost associated with feed production costs, the default value needs to be defined in this field.

Formulas must be assigned to animal products prior to order or delivery. **Animal products must be created prior to this task.
