Standards are used to measure actual performance of the entity rather than standard performance factors. These comparisons can be used for reporting and graphing purpose'.Standards are defined for statistical data based on an effective date. Unlimited numbers of standards can be defined, however, only two standards can be assigned to an entity. The standards are defined by age and week of lay.

 

Create a Standard

  1. In BMTS>BIM>Master Data, select Standards.
  2. In the Standards main index, click to add a new standard.


  3. In the New Standard dialog box, in the Standard No field, enter a unique alphanumeric name for the standard.
  4. Enter a Standard Name to identify the standard.
  5. In the Effective Date field, enter the date that the standard will become effective.
  6. Select the Species Type. Available options are Chicken or Duck.
  7. Enter a Version Name to identify the standard version within the system, and then click 'OK'.
  8. The Standards Data screen will appear with numerous fields to enter if applicable.

 

 

  1. Once the necessary data has been entered in the BIM Standards screen, click    to save the standard. Saved Standards can then be viewed in the Standards index.
