Breed Code Types

Breed Code Types are used to group flocks based on how they are managed. Breed Code Types are used throughout the system, but largely by FDSA to assign Feeding Programs, BPA Planning  and by BRPA to forecast kill schedules. The user may filter the fields for the required option.

Breed Code Types are used in the following:

• Poultry Breed Codes
• SMTS Breed Codes

Create Breed Code Type

1. In Admin>Business>General>Definitions, select Breed Code Types.
2. Select to create a new breed type.



 

3. Enter a Breed Type No to identify the breed grouping. Alphanumeric, maximum 20 characters.

4. Enter a Breed Type Name to describe the breed grouping. Alphanumeric, maximum 50 characters.
